LEWISBURG- A Lewisburg man and woman were arrested early Oct. 4 after an officer said he encountered them twice in public and directed them to walk home, according to a criminal complaint.
The officer first reported seeing Anthony Loudermilk and Brittney Arbogast near Greenbrier Chevrolet at about 2:50 a.m. He said Loudermilk smelled of alcohol and told the pair to walk to their residence or face arrest. They acknowledged the order and started walking, the complaint states.
About 30 minutes later, the officer said he found them outside Red Oak Realty on Jefferson Street North. Both were placed in restraints, and Arbogast told the officer she had two beers at a bar earlier that night, according to the complaint.
After the pair were taken to the Lewisburg Police Department for processing, Loudermilk allegedly told an officer, “I had an a**-whooping coming, buddy.”
They were then taken to Southern Regional Jail pending arraignment in Greenbrier County Magistrate Court.
The complaint excerpt provided does not specify the charges filed against either person.
