ALDERSON- A Summers County man accused of threatening to hit and kill his mother was later found with a bag containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine, according to court documents.

A deputy went to a home on Clayton-Judson Road near Alderson shortly before 8:00 AM Sept. 28 after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance involving Jacob Boone.

Boone’s mother told the deputy that Boone had arrived about 7:30 AM and entered her bedroom.

She said he became belligerent and refused to leave. When she tried to close the door, Boone allegedly approached her with clenched fists and threatened to hit and kill her. She told the deputy she feared he would hurt her.

Boone had left by the time the deputy arrived.

On Oct. 1, an officer attempting to serve a warrant on Boone at the same address reported seeing him try to retrieve a blue plastic bag from a cigarette pack with his mouth as he was being taken into custody. The officer said the bag contained a white, crystal-like substance that appeared to be methamphetamine.

Boone allegedly told the officer the substance was methamphetamine.
