LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Village Caregiving, an in-home caregiving agency headquartered in Barboursville, West Virginia, is celebrating one year of service in the Greenbrier Valley through its Lewisburg office. While being recognized as the nation’s largest privately owned in-home caregiving agency, with more than 60 offices across over 20 states, Village Caregiving provides local, personalized care to those in need to help strengthen communities. Village Caregiving (VCG) Lewisburg opened its doors on March 1, 2025, with a mission to support local seniors and families in remaining safe and independent at home.

In its first year of operation, VCG Lewisburg has provided more than 56,000 hours of in-home caregiving services to individuals and families across Greenbrier, Monroe, Summers, and Pocahontas counties. The office has also developed strong partnerships with local foundations and community organizations and hosted the region’s first Senior Information Fair, which welcomed more than 250 attendees. In recognition of its growth and community impact during its first year, VCG Lewisburg will be honored as New Office of the Year by the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce at its upcoming Annual Dinner next month.

As an in-home caregiving agency, Village Caregiving staffs compassionate caregivers who provide support with daily living needs, including bathing, dressing, ambulation assistance, companionship, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and essential transportation for errands. VCG’s mission is to help individuals remain safely in their homes for as long as possible—supporting independence, easing the burden on families, and reducing unnecessary reliance on long-term care facilities.

For more information about services or to inquire about care for yourself or a loved one, contact Village Caregiving Lewisburg at 304-992-6816 or email morganstover@villagecaregiving.com.
