Roena Mae Piercy
Roena Mae Piercy, 77, of Lewisburg, passed away on August 29, 2026, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
She was born January 14, 1949, in Ronceverte and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Nellie Lewis Long.
Roena was a member of the Ronceverte Church of God and was a retired civilian worker for the U. S. Navy.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil E. Piercy; son, Timothy Hinkle of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Shawn Vincent Hinkle and Kayden Matthew Hinkle; sister, Bonnie Petree (Noel) of Clements, MD; brothers, Alfred Long II (Karen) of Renick, WV, and Ronnie Long of Front Royal, VA.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Bob Daniels officiating; interment will follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
