LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) — Carnegie Hall proudly announces the launch of Season Tickets for its 2026–2027 programming, showcasing a vibrant Mainstage Performance Series and the celebrated return of the Classics Series featuring Steinway Living Legend Barbara Nissman.

Carnegie Hall’s 2026–2027 season unfolds as a vivid tapestry of global traditions, American roots, symphonic brilliance, and imaginative storytelling—each performance offering its own window into culture, craft, and connection. The year opens with the transcendent Mystical Arts of Tibet, an immersive ritual experience of ancient temple music and multiphonic chanting, followed by the electrifying twin‑fiddle mastery of Michael Cleveland & Jason Carter, whose decades‑long musical kinship fuels a night of bluegrass fire and heart. Autumn glows with two signature evenings from the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra—first a candlelit program of timeless masterworks, then a sparkling holiday celebration filled with festive favorites and orchestral warmth. Winter brings the cross‑cultural brilliance of From China to Appalachia, where GRAMMY‑winning artists blend traditions and instruments into a joyful, border‑bridging soundscape. Spring surges with the percussive power and storytelling of Step Afrika!, the genre‑defying Memphis soul and blues of Southern Avenue, and the family‑friendly wonder of Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live, where life‑size prehistoric creatures roam the stage. The season concludes with Both Sides Now, an intimate, theatrical journey through the intertwined lives and songs of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. Together, these performances create a season rich in artistry, diversity, and shared experience—an invitation for the community to gather, celebrate, and be moved.

Mainstage Season Tickets go on sale Monday, July 20, offering you the chance to secure your favorite seat for an entire season filled with eight unforgettable performances. Season Ticket holders not only save 15% on the full season but also enjoy exclusive early access to next year’s Carnegie Hall Season Subscriptions. Choose your preferred seating level: Level I – $340, and Level II – $300 per season ticket. Don’t miss your opportunity to be part of a remarkable season of music, theater, and live entertainment.

Season Tickets also go on sale July 20 for the Carnegie Classics Series which offers a rare opportunity to experience the profound artistry of renowned pianist and Steinway Living Legend Barbara Nissman. The Series returns with three composer‑centered programs that showcase Barbara Nissman’s signature blend of brilliance, warmth, and deep musical insight.

The season opens with Not Frank, Franck!, a lively matinee featuring Barbara and violinist Russell Fallstad in a celebration of César Franck’s radiant, emotionally rich sound world. In March, Barbara and Friends explore the depth, power, and humanity of The Third B: Johannes Brahms, offering audiences an evening shaped by lyricism and grand Romantic sweep. The series concludes in May with Felix Mendelssohn, The Popular Prodigy!, a joyful tribute to Mendelssohn’s youthful sparkle and effortless charm. Together, these three concerts create an inviting journey through beloved masterworks—performed with the passion, clarity, and personal connection that define Barbara’s artistry.

A passionate advocate for expanding access to classical piano music, Barbara brings contagious enthusiasm and deep connection to the composers she interprets. Her ability to make classical music both accessible and exhilarating makes her the ideal artist to grow new audiences. Carnegie Hall WV, with its intimate setting and community-centered mission, offers the perfect backdrop for this endeavor.

Classics Series Season Tickets include all three performances, with a 15% discount when subscribing to the full series. Pricing tiers are available at $90 (Level I), and $75 (Level II).

Mark your calendar: individual tickets go on sale August 1, 2026. In the meantime, Season Tickets are available now at CarnegieHallWV.org or by calling the Box Office at 304-645-7917. Carnegie Hall WV invites you to be part of a season where each performance is a vibrant celebration of artistry, emotion, and community.

Carnegie Hall also offers discounts for members, seniors, military, and students. Thanks to the Carnegie Cardinal Fund Greenbrier County students, grades K – 12, receive free entry while funds last. To take advantage of any of these discounts, call the Box Office at (304) 645-7917.
