Lewisburg, W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall continues the 2026 Ivy Terrace Outdoor Music Series with a performance by Deni Bonet & Chris Flynn on Thursday, July 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Carnegie Hall. A signature part of Lewisburg’s summer cultural landscape, Ivy Terrace invites the community to gather for free live music on the picturesque lawn overlooking New River Community and Technical College.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy a relaxed, family‑friendly evening. All Ivy Terrace concerts are free, alcohol‑free, generously sponsored by City National Bank, and will move indoors in the event of inclement weather. For updates, concertgoers are encouraged to follow Carnegie Hall’s Facebook page.

Deni Bonet & Chris Flynn bring an irresistible blend of Americana, folk‑rock, virtuoso musicianship, and quick‑witted humor to the Ivy Terrace stage. Based in New York, the duo has captivated audiences around the world with their seamless vocal blend, Bonet’s electrifying violin, Flynn’s expressive guitar work, and the warm, playful banter that defines their performances. Together, they have appeared everywhere from Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to Mountain Stage, the United Nations, the White House, and even the Great Wall of China. They have shared the stage with artists including R.E.M., Cyndi Lauper, Richard Thompson, Warren Zevon, Sarah McLachlan, and Allen Toussaint, and have performed their original music as soloists with full symphony orchestras.

For the past seven years, Bonet and Flynn have toured extensively across the United States and Europe, performing at festivals, concert halls, house concerts, libraries, and radio programs. Their shows are known for superbly crafted songs, high‑energy instrumentals, and the kind of onstage chemistry that only comes from two seasoned artists who are completely in sync. Their upcoming album, Off the Record, is slated for release in 2025. Critics and presenters consistently praise the duo’s charisma and musicality, with WFUV’s John Platt calling their performances “irresistible,” and Forbes noting Bonet’s dynamic stage presence and fearless violin work.

Audiences at Ivy Terrace can expect an evening of uplifting musicianship, engaging storytelling, and the joyful spontaneity that has made Deni Bonet & Chris Flynn audience favorites around the world.

Wild Vittles by Mountain Table Food Truck will also be available during the concert, serving up their signature fresh, flavorful dishes throughout the evening. Concertgoers can grab dinner on the lawn before settling in for live music, making the night even more festive and delicious.
