RUPERT- The Greenbrier West Lady Cavaliers put on a hitting clinic on senior night in an 18-1 dominating victory over the Webster County Lady Highlanders.

The Cavaliers honored three seniors: Brilee Redden, Brooklyn Adkins, and Addie Deitz.

It was definitely a night to remember for those three seniors as Redden and Adkins both hit homeruns, and Deitz went 1-3 with a runs scored and an RBI.

Emma Edens also hit a long ball for West.

Greenbrier West (11-6) scored three in the first, four in the second, and exploded for 11 runs in the final inning before the mercy rule took effect and sent the Highlanders home on Redden’s homer.

Redden also starred on the mound and pitched three innings, gave just one hit, and struck out five.

The Lady Cavs will host Greater Beckley Christian on Tuesday, April 28. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 PM, weather permitting.
