CHARLESTON- The Greenbrier East Lady Spartans showed up at the 60th Capital City Classic and did what they normally do; win the whole thing.
The girls scored 148 total points en route to a first-place finish and defeated second place Winfield, who scored 109, handily.
Hydee Wykle also broke a Discus school record that had stood for 39 years since 1987. Her throw was measured at 105-11, breaking that previous mark held by Tina Boone Dunbar of 105-9.
