Eva Mae Fisher Napier, 86, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at her home on Montvue Drive in Lewisburg, WV.

She was born November 11, 1927, at Union, WV, the daughter of the late Hubert Lee Fisher and Victoria Belle Cohernour Fisher.

She was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church (Lewisburg Baptist Church), where she was a member of the church choir and the Jolly Seniors. She retired from the Greenbrier County Board of Education as a cook at Lewisburg Elementary School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William “Bill” Richard Napier in 2005; a son, William “Billy” Richard Napier Jr. in 1991; and a sister, Alma Loudermilk.

Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Napier, Donna Hanson and husband, Aubrey, Betty Baker, Diana Shafer and husband, Dave, Marie Sykes and husband, Carter, and Joyce Clendenin and husband, Roger, all of Lewisburg; a son, Johnny Lee Napier and wife, Sharon, of Lewisburg; sisters, Clara Anderson of Grand Rapids, MI, Anna Lee Hahn of Elbridge, NY, and Norma Lilly of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Kimberly Simpson and husband, Wayne, of Asheboro, NC, Lori George and husband, Chad, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Melissa Nass and husband, Oswaldo, of Katy, TX, Michele Dowdy and husband, Jeff, of Organ Cave, WV, T.R. Fuller and wife, Amanda, of Lewisburg, and Christopher Clendenin and wife, Renee, of Ronceverte, WV; great-grandchildren, Hunter Fridley, Abbie Fridley, Zachary Fuller, Hannah Fuller, Madison Fuller, Alexis Fuller, Haley Dowdy, Kaden Dowdy, Isabella Nass, Aevary Nass, Keilah Nass, Parker Clendenin, Katie Bostic, Zach Bostic, Bryce George, Nolan George, and Ava George; and a very special young man, Kamrin Baker.

Services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 11 AM at Lewisburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Cromer and Gary Baker officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, June 13, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at the Lewisburg Baptist Church.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
