Flowers are sprouting, leaves are unfurling, spring is in the air, and the Alderson Community Market is back in action. The market takes place every Tuesday between 3 and 6 p.m. in the parking lot at Fruits of Labor and the surrounding lawn and market pavilion.
The dulcet tones of live music and the chatter of the gathered crowd fill the picturesque community. Vendors surround the space selling everything from baked delicacies to fresh beef and chicken. Additionally, every type of vegetable imaginable lines the tables and stalls.
Children are welcome to attend the market with their families. Activities are set up for the kids in attendance to enjoy while their parents or guardians shop and enjoy the music.
To further help families, SNAP benefits are accepted by most vendors.
Enjoy a day with family and fresh food in the quaint town of Alderson.
