The City of Ronceverte has released the following information regarding their Halloween 2021 plans:
Saturday, October 30th is the day to celebrate Halloween in Ronceverte this year.
Start the day with the costume parade on Edgar Avenue at 3 p.m. This parade is only for people in costumes (and parents as needed). The line-up will be no motorized vehicles allowed. Parade participants will walk Edgar Avenue, from Peoples Bank to Tri-County Produce Market to show off their Halloween costumes.
This will be followed immediately by a Trunk-or-Treat in the public parking lot (across from Tri-County Market). Everyone is invited to park and hand candy until 5 p.m. We ask that anyone doing so arrive before 3 p.m.
Edgar Avenue from Peoples Bank to Tri-County Produce will be closed for a small time during the parade.
At 4 p.m. the Friends of Ronceverte begin their Street Scare! They will be located on Main Street near Wild Child Hodgepodgery. Friends of Ronceverte is also planning a Treasure Hunt among participating businesses in Ronceverte. 4 p.m. is the start of games, attractions, and Trunk-or-Treat sponsored by the Ronceverte Baptist Church. on Main Street. Both the Street Scare and the Baptist Church will continue until 8 p.m.
House to house Trick-or-Treating is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
