Brandon also allegedly told officers that he stabbed the male victim in the abdomen area and that he believed the sword entered the man’s body “about three inches or so.”
While being interviewed at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, the female victim advised investigators that “Brandon was in the bedroom [ ] when he stated that ‘the town of White Sulphur will remember this day.’ Brandon then picked up his sword in a sheath and proceeded to hit her with it so hard that she was knocked to the floor.
In a written statement released on Thursday morning, Greenbrier County Sheriff Bruce Sloan said, “Mr. Brandon was charged with two counts of malicious wounding and arraigned before a Greenbrier County Magistrate. He was incarcerated in the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.”
