AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE

Notice of Application

Notice is given that Clearco Processing Corporation has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a General Permit Registration for a coal preparation plant facility located near Rupert in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.  Location coordinates for the facility are: latitude 38.09666707 and longitude –80.5622218.

The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants from operations will be: Controlled particulate matter emissions of 362 tons per year (TPY), of which 288 TPY are fugitive; controlled particulate matter less than 10 micron emissions of 118 TPY, of which 84 TPY are fugitive.

Startup of operation is planned to begin upon permit approval. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV  25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.

Any questions regarding this permit application should be directed to the DAQ at (304) 926-0499, extension 1227, during normal business hours.
