CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) — The 25th Annual Silver Anniversary “Ride for Life” Dice Run benefiting the American Cancer Society will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026. The ride is approximately 135 miles through six West Virginia counties, with dice-roll stops in Barbour, Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston and Taylor counties.
Registration runs from 10 a.m. to noon at Texas Roadhouse in Clarksburg. All participants will depart at their leisure, no later than noon. The cost is $20 per bike and $10 per rider, which includes breakfast at Texas Roadhouse, snacks along the way, a scenic ride through country roads and dinner at Best Western Plus in Bridgeport, along with live music, raffles and cash prizes for high and low dice rolls.
Those who do not wish to ride may attend the dinner, which begins at 5 p.m. Live music and raffles will be featured throughout the evening. A highlight of the night will be a display of shirts from all 25 previous years, shown in the ballroom during dinner.
Co-chair Chrissy Musta said, “Cancer never quits, and neither will we.” Funds raised through this and other events for the American Cancer Society support life-saving research to help end cancer.
Co-chair Cecilia Daugherty said, “There were 648 participants last year, and we are hoping for more this year.”
