After the fog dissipates this morning, we’ll see mainly clear skies again today, but Mother Nature will be cranking up the heat! High temps should hit the mid 80s-mid 90s across our area today (depending on elevation). We should see plenty of sun over the next few days as high pressure remains in control.

Wildfire smoke traveling overhead from Canada will bring us a bit of HAZE today and tomorrow as well, but this should have little to no impact on air quality. Don’t be surprised if you smell smoke from time to time, however! The haziness should make for vibrant sunsets and sunrises today & Thursday.

A frontal system will bring in showers/storms by Friday evening, and these will continue into the weekend, with the best shot at rain Saturday-Saturday evening. Some storms could be stronger or severe this weekend, and locally heavy rain/flooding could be possible too.

Stay tuned!
