Spencer James Arnold

Spencer James Arnold, age 40, of Ronceverte, passed away on Sunday morning, June 7, 2026, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Even though his ever present infectious smile has been diminished, it will be ever present in our hearts and mind!

Spencer was born April 27, 1986, in Ronceverte and was the son of Pam and Rusty Arnold of Ronceverte.

He was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School and received his Associate Degree from New River Community College. Spencer proudly served as Sgt. in the U. S. Army, having served two tours in Iraq.

He was a member of the Ronceverte Presbyterian Church. Spencer was an employee of Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home.

Spencer is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William L. Wallace; paternal grandparents, Jim and Edna Arnold; maternal grandparents-in-law, Wilbur and Ann Arnold; and nephew, Odin Robert Arnold.

He will be forever remembered by his wife, Tasha Nicole Arnold; sons, Gunner James Arnold and Kyler Odin Arnold; parents, Pam and Rusty Arnold; maternal grandmother, Phyllis S. Wallace; mother-in-law, Nannette Arnold, and father-in-law, Gerry Wooding (Michele); siblings, Ann Dove (Jeromy), Cav Arnold (Shawna), Elizabeth Arnold (Jonathan Parker); brother and sisters-in-law, Kristina Ward (Chad), Garrett Wooding (Kat), and Denise Wooding (Daryl); uncles and aunts, Ridge Arnold (Nancy Clower), Robbie Arnold (Brenda), Beezle Arnold, Judy Polan (Josh); nieces and nephews, Chase Arnold, Bre Theriot, J. R. Weikle, Kyleigh Weikle, Ivan Weikle, Naomi Weikle, Emily Dove, Wyatt Dove, Lylah Parker, Zoey Parker, Harlow Parker, Colton Ward, Koah Ward, Josiah Fox, and Carter Wooding; great-nephews, Kai and Zayden.

Funeral services for Spencer will be Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ronceverte Presbyterian Church with Rev. Stephen Baldwin, Pastor Stewart Farley, and Pastor Greg Scott officiating; interment with Military Honors by the American Legion Post #26 at the End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV.

The service will be live streamed at www.youtube.com/@roncevertepres .

Please, in lieu of flowers, make memorial contributions to either the Ronceverte Food Pantry, 213 Billy Hunter Lane, Ronceverte, WV 24970; or Greenbrier County Animal Shelter, 151 Holliday Lane, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
