LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall invites participants to celebrate creativity, connection, and a little sparkle in Charm School: Make Your Own Jewelry, a hands‑on workshop led by instructor Connie Gottshall on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open to ages 12 and older, this Jewelry‑101‑style class is perfect for a Mother’s Day outing with family or a fun morning with friends. With a maximum class size of fifteen, students will enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment ideal for learning and experimenting.

In this beginner‑friendly workshop, participants will explore the art of crafting beaded charms as they design custom earrings, bracelets, or necklaces. Gottshall will guide students step‑by‑step through the process of selecting materials, assembling components, and creating polished, wearable pieces. A dazzling assortment of crystals, pearls, glass beads, and natural stones will be available, allowing each student to tailor their project to their own style and imagination.

The class fee is $25, with flat‑rate materials fees paid directly to the instructor: $15 for earrings, $25 for bracelets, and $35 for necklaces. Students may choose one project or create multiple pieces in this fun, fast‑paced “make and take” workshop.

Carnegie Hall encourages early registration for this popular spring offering, which blends creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of making something beautiful by hand.

Carnegie Hall WV is a nonprofit organization supported by individual contributions, grants, and fundraising efforts such as TOOT and The Carnegie Hall Gala. The Hall is located at 611 Church Street, Lewisburg, WV. For more information, please call 304.645.7917 or visit www.carnegiehallwv.org.
