Lewisburg Historic Landmarks Commission to hold meeting

LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Lewisburg Historic Landmarks Commission will meet on Monday, June 9, at 5 p.m. in the Paul R. Cooley Council Chambers to hear the following applications:

1. Call to order

2. George Underwood, 279 Foster Street, application for addition to be built to existing log cabin.

3. Tony Juker, 879 Washington Street, install a 36”X48” Del SoL sign on existing post.

4. Patricia Lally 489 Randolph Street repair front porch broken bricks and back patio.

5. Bernard and Karin Tronche, 210 North Lee Street, change of plans from previous May 13, 2024 approved application.

6. Rich McMahan, 134 Harris Street, new building application for log cabin.

7. Shay Newton, 900 Washington Street West, Suite S, install sign on existing post, black and white in color.

8. Ben Long, 491 Church Street, new root demo cinder block building in the back, install a new paved driveway, with retaining wall off McEthenny Road, on the South side of the house and build a screened-in porch, and north side extend bathroom.

9. Florian Schleiff, 151 Feamster: Complete the retaining wall on the corner of Court and Feamster.

10. Florian Schteiff vacant lot 151 Feamster, changes made for previously approved garage, porch addition wilL be moved from West side to East side, change five windows to only two windows main door wilt be instaLLed on West side with a Man door stoop and use 2-1 0x8 garage doors (Forrest Green).

11. Austin Neal 1184 Washington Street East, replace roof with White EDPM, replace or add flashing from porch roof to siding of house.

12. Comments from the public.

13. Comments from the Planning and Zoning Officer.

14. Comments from the Commissioners.

15. Adjournment.

The next scheduled meeting of the Historic Landmarks Commission will be held on Monday, July 14, with a deadline of June 18, noon.
