GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) — A domestic disturbance involving threats and assault allegations led to the arrest of Allison Kirchner, 39, of Meadow Bridge near Dawson on Wednesday, June 12.
An individual contacted authorities around 3:40 p.m. to report Kirchner’s alleged aggressive behavior toward two minors, identified as Kirchner’s daughter and a friend of the daughter.
According to the criminal complaint, the caller informed responding officers that Kirchner pursued her daughter and friend to a residence banging on the door and threatening them with derogatory language. The individual stated that earlier, the juveniles had encountered Kirchner at a local store where she allegedly made threats against them.
One of the victims provided a written statement alleging that Kirchner had confronted them at a gas station, verbally abused them, and later chased them to the residence, continuing the verbal assault and physical intimidation.
The other victim corroborated the given account, stating Kirchner had verbally harassed her at the store and later at the residence, banging on the door and threatening physical violence.
In her defense, Kirchner claimed to officers that the victims had provoked her with obscene gestures at the store and later at the residence, but denied making any threats.
Following the investigation, Kirchner was arrested on charges of Domestic Assault and Assault. She was transported to the Rainelle Detachment for processing.
The incident remains under investigation by local authorities.
At the time of writing, Kirchner is incarcerated at Southern Regional Jail with bail set at $5,000.
