MAXWELTON W.Va. (WVDN) – Mike Williams, Director Emeritus presented the 2024 Maxwelton Ruritan Scholarships during a recent Greenbrier East High School assembly. The Maxwelton Ruritan Club would like to congratulate their 2024 Scholarship Recipients:

Caden and Rylee Carver – In honor of their grandparents and former Maxwelton Ruritan members Merl and Darlis Carver.

Breanna Carpenter – Henry Lindsey Scholarship.

Natalee Cross – Build Your Dollar.

Representatives said, “The Maxwelton Club would like to thank all of our customers who purchase from our ice cream concession stand during the State Fair of West Virginia. With your support, we can continue to provide scholarships to deserving local students. Along with the scholarships, we give to local charitable organizations such as Penny Pitch, Frankford Fire Department, Lewisburg Fire Department, Shop with a Cop, support GEHS HOSA program and many more. The State Fair of West Virginia will be held August 8-17, 2024 and our volunteers will be serving delicious ice cream and hand-made milkshakes and all of the proceeds from our ice cream stay in our local community.”
