LINDSIDE- James Monroe track and field star Abby Dixon broke two school records in late March and as etched her name into the Mavericks record books as her 2024 season is off to a great start.
In the 800-meter run, the former school record time was 2:36.64 and Dixon ran it in 2:32.26. Then, in the 1600-meter run, Dixon ran an extraordinary time of 5:51.7 which broke the record of 5:54.00.
Dixon ran for Greenbrier East before transferring to James Monroe in the fall of 2023.
