FAIRLEA- Senior Greenbrier East Spartan baseball player Gavin Bennett is this week’s West Virginia Daily News Diamond player of the week.
Bennett had a big week that included team wins over Woodrow Wilson and Hurricane. He hit .533 with a home run and 8 RBIs. He also scored 4 runs and had 9 strikeouts in his one outing on the pitcher’s mound.
