CHARMCO W.Va. (WVDN) – Follow a recent investigation, a Charmco man has been arrested on drug-related charges. Greenbrier County Cheif Deputy Bart Baker released the following information:
“Subsequent to an investigation conducted by members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, a search warrant was obtained for a residence located in Charmco, West Virginia. The search warrant was executed on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, and officers seized a large amount of methamphetamine, fentanyl and multiple other suspected controlled substances, as well as a large amount of US Currency.
“James Matthew Walkup, age 47 of Charmco, was arrested and charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and was incarcerated in the Southern Regional Jail.
“Members of the WV State Police Rainelle Detachment assisted in the search of the home.
“Deputy Herman Rodriguez, of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, is the lead investigator.”
