RAINELLE W.Va. (WVDN) – Three individuals have been arrested in Rainelle. Chief Deputy Bart Baker released the following statement on the arrests:
“On Saturday night, March 23, 2024, members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department responded to a complaint within the city limits of Rainelle, WV. That investigation led them to another residence, located on Second Street in Rainelle, and the officers subsequently obtained a search warrant for that home.
“Eleven individuals were located within the residence and a search of the property resulted in the seizure of approximately 3.29 grams of what appeared to be methamphetamine and a 1.5-ounce bag of what appeared to be marijuana. Multiple amounts of drug paraphernalia; including baggies, bowls, pipes, needles, burnt foil and straws were also seized.
“As a result of the investigation, three individuals were placed under arrest.
“James Robert Baglin, age 59, was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance.
“Trey Martin Anderson was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance.
“Cleve Deal, age 43, was arrested on a Child Support capias.
“All three individuals were transported to the Southern Regional Jail.”
Captain J. J. Martin and Sergeant M. T. Doss are the investigating officers.
