Cast your vote for the WV Daily News GE Basketball Player of the Week (Jan. 8-13)

Please vote for the WV Daily News Spartan Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 8-13. Two boys and two girls are listed together. We will take the top boy and girl vote getter and announce the winners on Monday nights (time may vary week-to-week). Voting closes Monday, January 15, 2024 at 6:00 PM. Each winner receives a WVDN wristband with Player of the Week printed on them.

Nominees:

Kennedy Stewart- scored 15 pts (5 threes) in a win over Riverside and had 21 pts (5 threes), 6 reb, 6 ast in a big win over Woodrow Wilson

Gabe Patton- averaged 17 points per game in losses to Oak Hill and Shady Spring

Jada Waller- scored 13.5 ppg in the two Lady Spartan wins. Also had 6 reb and 4 steals vs. Woodrow Wilson

Brody Hamric- averaged 12 ppg in East’s two losses
