RAINELLE, W.Va. (WVDN) – Valley Works Resource Center has announced a partnership with the city of Rainelle, Rainelle Police Department, Mayor Robin Williams, Raleigh County Prevention Coalition and others to host the first of many community conversations.
“Talk, Plan, Do — A Western Greenbrier Community Conversation” is an opportunity for community members to discuss the issues that impact public health, safety and economic development in the area. The event takes place at the Valley Works Resource Center on Tuesday, May 16, from 5:30-7 p.m.
Topics for the discussion include crime, dilapidated buildings, drugs, housing insecurity and jobs.
More than a conversation, “Talk, Plan, Do” discussions will result in action plans, timelines and personal commitments that will create sustainable solutions.
The community is invited to share a meal, discuss concerns, ideas, and suggestions.
