Margaret Ann Simmons Neville of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, June 25, 2017, after a seven-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born August 27, 1939, daughter of Howard Carl Simmons and Margaret Luevena Cook Simmons.
Margaret was a dedicated member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carold Bradford “Brad” Neville; a brother, Carlis Simmons; and a sister, Rose Hilton.
Margaret is survived by a son, David Shane Neville and fiancee, Amy Lou Deavers; sister, Clara Bennett; brother, Willis Simmons; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Margaret had caring and devoted friends, Susan Hepler of Covington, VA, and Rick and Pat Harper of White Sulphur Springs, who took extra good care of her. A special mention of Margaret’s niece, Karen Bennett Waddell and husband, Gary, who took her on lots of adventures and were excellent caregivers. Margaret had a special grandniece, Stephanie Waddell Hepler and husband, Jason, who were her best friends, travel buddies, and forever companions.
The family will welcome friends for visitation on Friday, June 30, 2017, from 6-8 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 1, at 10 AM at the funeral home with Father Jim Conyers officiating, to be followed by a graveside service at Campground Cemetery in Creamery, WV.
