Carol Jean Linthicum, 61, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, formerly of Alderson, WV, and Williamsburg, VA, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at her home.
Born May 27, 1955, at Alderson, she was the daughter of Bernard Basil and Mary Linnie Roach Boggess.
Carol loved to crochet baby blankets and make apple butter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Boggess, Nellie Bowden, and Judy Schell; and three brothers, Johnnie Boggess, George Boggess, and Billy Boggess.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Dale Linthicum of White Sulphur Springs; a daughter, Carla Jean Brown (John Martinez) of White Sulphur Springs; a son, Michael Paul Linthicum (Tammy) of Rainelle, WV; stepsons, John Linthicum of Lewisburg, WV, and Jeffrey Loudermilk of Vago, WV; three brothers, Arnold Boggess of Wooster, OH, Kenneth Boggess of Charmco, WV, and James Boggess Sr. of Crawley, WV; and two grandchildren, Jeffrey Brown of White Sulphur Springs and Damian Thompson of Rupert, WV.
Services will be conducted at 2 PM on Monday, May 15, 2017, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in Rupert with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at Richardson Cemetery at Smoot, WV.
Friends may call from 1 PM until time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Wallace & Wallace Inc., P.O. Box 777, Rupert, WV 25984, Carol Linthicum, Account No. 17-222 to defray funeral expenses.
