Wallace R. Yeck Sr., 78, from West Virginia and Crystal River, FL, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at the Hospice House in Lecanto, FL, from lung cancer.
He was born June 19, 1936, in Ludington, MI, to Leo and Goldie Yeck.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.
Left to cherish is memory are his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley M. Yeck; a son, Wallace Yeck Jr. and wife, Laura, from Tennessee; daughters, Susan Marcey of West Virginia, Sally Hackle and husband, Roy, of Florida, and Cindy Edwards of Hinton, WV; granddaughters, Theresa Talbot of Florida, Amber Goble of Florida, and Brittany Guzman of West Virginia; grandsons, George McCorkle of Florida, James Chellis of West Virginia, and Justin Guzman of West Virginia; as well as many, many great-grandchildren; and many, many friends.
Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto with family services taking place at a later date.
Brown Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
