Arcie Terry Surgeon of Quincy, OH, departed this earth to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2014. While her earthly journey has ended, she will always be in the thoughts of all those who knew Arcie.
Arcie was born in Pence Springs, WV, on August 10, 1930, to Charles and Minnie Ellen Bragg Terry.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, James H. Walker and Andrew James Surgeon; her children, Judith Ann Walker and James H. Walker Jr.; brothers, William Terry, Jack Terry, Richard Terry, and Glendon Terry; and sisters, Nellie Terry Collins, Rosie Terry, and Claralee Terry Bowyer.
Survivors include her children, Carolyn Jo Stewart (Steve), of Quincy, and Robert D. Walker (significant other, Catherine Eastman) of Bellefontaine, OH; and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Interment and Graveside services for immediate family only were held Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Sam Black Church, WV, with Pastor Rick Brown officiating.
