Louise Ellen Dowdy Perry, 64, of Caldwell, WV, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014, at home after an extended illness.
Born November 19, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Helen Martin and Leslie Hefner.
Louise was a member of the Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church, Route 92, White Sulphur Springs, WV, and a graduate of Greenbrier East High School. She was a beautician at Libby’s Beauty Bar in White Sulphur Springs for many years and also was an employee of Home Health and Work Force.
Preceding her in death, other than her parents, were her first husband, Dale Dowdy; and grandparents, Rosie Ellen and Charles Buster Corron and Author and Flora Hefner.
Survivors include her husband, John Perry of Caldwell; one son, Christopher Dale Dowdy; one daughter, Sheena Louise Skaggs (Ricky) of White Sulphur Springs; one granddaughter, Haley Ann Louise Skaggs of Alderson, WV; and one special and beloved aunt, Linda Feamster (Buck) of White Sulphur Springs, and their son, Michael (Jessica) of Roanoke, VA.
There will be a Graveside service at Mapledale Cemetery on Route 92, White Sulphur Springs, on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at 2 PM with the Revs. Gordon Ross and Glen Thaxton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church, Route 92, White Sulphur Springs.
