Mary Hester Nemcik, 80, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at her home surrounded by loving family.
She was born on September 11, 1940, in White Sulphur Springs, the daughter of the late Wyatt Hill and Kathleen Wickline Alderman.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Kelly.
Survivors include her husband, John R. Nemcik; children, Cheryl E. Shaffer and husband Jeff of White Sulphur Springs, Joseph “Joey” W. Nemcik and wife Mary Page of Lewisburg, and David S. Nemcik of White Sulphur Springs; 5 grandchildren, Hallie Nemcik, Coriann Nemcik, Cody Shaffer, Carli Shaffer, and Jacob Reveal; sisters, Betty Turner, Melissa Brock; and brother, Pete Alderman; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs, with Father Jim Conyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Loretto Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. Due to Covid-19 and respect for the family, those that wish to attend, we ask that you respect and follow social distancing guidelines.
