Brenda Lee Brant, 72, of White Sulphur Springs, passed away peacefully and with family on September 27, 2020 at Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg after a long battle with cancer. She was such a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Brant, who her family is sure is now spoiling her in Heaven, as he did in life.
Born on March 29, 1948, in Ronceverte, she was the daughter of the late Larry and Bernice Morgan.
Survivors include two sons, Dustin Benge and Jeffrey Huffman; five sisters, Cheryl Morgan, Rita Wilhelm, Nancy Nelson, Bonnie Dolan, and Laura Stover; five grandchildren, Lucy Benge, Alexander Benge, Stacie Huffman, Tracie Huffman, and Christopher Huffman; and three great grandchildren.
Brenda was such a generous and loving person who made friends wherever she would go. She loved her community so much and was proud to tell people while traveling that she is from West Virginia. She always lived in the moment and loved being with people more than anything else in the world. She was a strong woman who was authentic and compassionate. She was also a wonderful cook and will be remembered for her legendary mashed potatoes, rolls, fudge, and chicken and dumplings. There will never be another person like her, and we are so blessed to have known her.
Please join us for graveside service which will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
