The following governmental bodies will hold public meetings this week:

The Greenbrier County Commission will meet in regular session on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. in Room 132 of the Greenbrier County Courthouse in Lewisburg. The meeting will also be livestreamed from https://www.facebook.com/gbrcourthouse/ On the agenda: consider the additional engineering time associated with FEMA repairs on the Meadow River Trail; consider assigning a resolution of consideration and designating GVEDC as the of lead economic development organization; discuss and consider the body camera proposal for the sheriff’s department; consider the approval of the 2021/2022 financial statement; courthouse construction project; and more.

Lewisburg City Council will meet in special session on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. at 942 Washington Street West. On the agenda: Ordinance 311, home rule amendment second reading and public hearing; arts and humanities request, Lewisburg Downtown Business Association; and more.
