ALDERSON (WVDN) – Flat Mountain Missionary Baptist Church will hold its annual singing and fellowship on the mountain on Saturday, Sept. 3, beginning at 3 p.m.
Brother Joe Howard and his group, the Appalachian Brother John Wyatt, Cousin Lucy Baker, and many others will be singing praises unto the Lord.
The event is outside; bring a lawn chair. Flat Mountain Missionary Baptist Church will provide sandwiches, chips, and cold drinks.
The church is located at 4178 Flat Mountain Road, Alderson, WV 24910. Flat Mountain Missionary Baptist Church is located on the Monroe County side of Alderson. From the senior citizens center in Alderson, turn left onto Flat Mountain Road, travel two miles, and bear right at the intersection. Flat Mountain Missionary Baptist Church is the first location on the right. It is exactly 2.1 miles from the senior center in town.

Sunday school is at 10 a.m. and has excellent teachers.
Sunday morning worship service is at 11 a.m.; mid-week service takes place on Wednesdays beginning at 7 p.m.
