Hello. I am Delegate Mike Honaker. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the 42nd District in the WV House of Delegates during this legislative session.

It has been my honor to spend my entire adult life in service to our nation, our state, and the communities in which I served. After graduating from Greenbrier East High School, I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I am a former First Sergeant with the Virginia State Police where I served for over 28 years. I am currently serving as the Greenbrier County Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. I also have the privilege of serving as the Head Football Coach and Head Wrestling Coach at Eastern Greenbrier Middle School.

I have a son, Matthias, age 23, and a daughter, Maddie, age 17. I enjoy exploring wild, wonderful southern West Virginia, especially walking along the beautiful Greenbrier River Trail with my faithful German Shepherd companion, Belleau.

I am a conservative Christian and those values guide my decisions and actions. I am committed to advocating for conservative constitutionally sound legislation that promotes freedom and opportunity for all West Virginians.

While serving as your delegate I have: helped usher through a $10,000 pay raise for our WV State Police, while also fighting for our veterans and first responders; voted for the sanctity of all life and defended the 2nd Amendment; supported pro-small business and pro-quality education legislation; advocated for health freedom, voting to ban vaccine passports.

I am a strong advocate for public safety and will always fully support our law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical service organizations, and emergency management personnel.

West Virginia veterans have a special place in my heart and I pledge to support legislation and programs that honor and encourage these heroes.

I am unapologetically pro-life. I believe that life begins at conception and I am fully committed to advocating for the lives of the pre-born.

I fully support the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution. I will work to ensure that all law abiding American citizens retain their constitutional right to purchase, own, and carry firearms and that these rights will not be infringed upon by the government, at any level.

I will advocate for small businesses. We need to work toward creating an economic environment that encourages and supports small businesses and eliminates over regulation and taxation.

I will support improvements and innovations in our schools that will help to ensure that our children are fully prepared to pursue their future goals.

I will fight for and defend our constitutional freedoms as Americans and West Virginians.

Let’s continue the great work happening under Republican leadership in West Virginia by supporting experienced leadership, character, and integrity.

You can contact me at mikehonaker4wv@gmail.com or POB 1373 Lewisburg, WV 24901 and please visit my Facebook page, Delegate Mike Honaker for West Virginia.

I would be honored to have your support in the May 10thPrimary Election. Freedom First!
