A Glen Daniel man has been arrested after he allegedly sent nude photos of himself to a person he believed was a 13-year-old female.
Between Oct. 1 and Nov. 5, 2021, Lawrence Lee Hart, 63, using the social media site Skout and later through text messages, sent nude photos of himself and discussed engaging in sexual activity with a person he believed to be a 13-year-old, according to the criminal complaint filed in Raleigh County.
On Nov. 5, Hart traveled to the MacArthur area intending to meet with the female. However, once he arrived at the location, he met with officers of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department instead.
Hart was arrested, taken to Southern Regional Jail and charged with a felony count of using obscene matter with intent to seduce a minor. His property/surety bond has been set at $250,000.
