BEAVER, W.Va. (WVDN) — New River Community and Technical College will offer a winter session Dec. 14 through Jan. 15, giving students a chance to earn college credits during the winter break.

The session will feature a variety of courses, including general education classes that can help students make progress toward a degree or certificate. All courses will be offered online, giving students flexibility as they balance their education with work and other commitments.

“The winter session gives students another opportunity to earn college credits and make progress toward their educational goals,” said Roger Griffith, dean of Transfer and Pre-Professional Programs at New River CTC. “With a variety of online courses available, students can use the winter break to complete important coursework and stay on track toward their degree or certificate.”

Registration is underway and will continue through Dec. 14.
