After a weak disturbance makes its way out of the area today, drier air will begin to filter in behind this departing system. We will see the sun gradually push back out Monday afternoon, and high temps will push into the low-mid 60s. Tonight we will continue to clear out with lows in the 30s.
Sunny and seasonable Fall weather is on tap for Tuesday and most of Wednesday. A stronger frontal system will bring a bit of rain/possible rumbles of thunder Wednesday evening-Thursday morning.
We will get a cooler and drier weekend behind this front. A clipper system could bring a few more showers and even a few snowflakes to the higher terrain Sunday night – Monday AM (mainly at places above 3,000 ft).
