LEWISBURG, W.Va (WVDN) — The Friends of the Greenbrier County Public Library invite the community to celebrate a beloved local tradition at the 43rd Annual Salad Luncheon Fundraiser on Thursday, November 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lewisburg United Methodist Church. The annual event brings friends and neighbors together to enjoy a delicious homemade lunch while supporting the library’s programs, services, and resources.

Guests can look forward to a generous spread of turkey, ham, homemade salads, fresh breads, delectable desserts, and beverages. Prepared with care by library staff, local businesses, volunteers, and Friends of the Library, the luncheon offers a variety of savory dishes and sweet treats to satisfy every palate.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $13 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Greenbrier County Public Library, helping strengthen library collections, expand educational and community programming, and maintain valuable resources for patrons of all ages.

“We are thrilled to continue this cherished tradition and bring our community together in support of the library,” said Ann Farr, director of the Greenbrier County Public Library. “The Salad Luncheon is more than a fundraiser. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the generosity of our community and the important role the library plays in the lives of the people we serve.”

Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend, enjoy a wonderful meal, and help support their local library. Whether you attend every year or are joining us for the first time, your participation makes a difference.

For tickets, additional information, or volunteer opportunities, contact the library at 304-647-7568 or greenbrier.library@mail.mln.lib.wv.us. Visit www.greenbriercountylibrary.com for more information.

Serving the community since 1941, the Greenbrier County Public Library provides access to books, technology, educational programs, and a welcoming environment for lifelong learning. Through its collections, services, and community partnerships, the library continues to inspire curiosity, encourage discovery, and connect people of all ages with opportunities to learn and grow.
