Coaches Comments: “Evan has helped our ‘Team’ go undefeated this season. He is part of the reason that we are ranked as the Top ‘Team’ in the State of West Virginia. Evan WILL be at the State Tournament and help us bring home the Trophy. His low scores and relationship with the ‘Team’ is a pleasure to watch on the course. One time I misspelled his name and wrote EVEN on a card that I sent to him. He said, “Coach, my name is not EVEN.” So, now I call him ‘One-Under”. Ha! Evan is enjoying his senior year, and we will miss him next year when we try to repeat.”
Spartan Alumni Spotlight: Jeff Bostic 97′. Jeff was the only 2x First-Team All-State Golfer in Greenbrier East History …… until Isaac Hutchison. Success followed Jeff Bostic even after his Spartan years. Thank you, Jeff Bostic, to set a level for others to beat. “Records are made to be broken” and we are looking for that to happen this year.
