GREENBRIER COUNTY- We’ll yet again be hot and humid today, and with Canadian wildfire smoke still traveling overhead, we’ll still be hazy at times as well. According to the EPA, our Air Quality Index is in the moderate range. Limit time outdoors Friday if you have lung issues/are sensitive to pollutants!

High temps should hit the 80s and 90s this afternoon. We’ll be a bit more unsettled today, with a few isolated showers/storms possible before sundown. Not everyone will see rain.

Storms tomorrow and tomorrow evening could become strong to severe, with the main threats being locally heavy downpours and damaging wind gusts. We’ll otherwise be partly sunny to mainly cloudy with highs in the 80s and lows tomorrow night in the 60s.

Sunday afternoon/evening looks quieter with partly cloudy skies. Highs will be a bit more seasonable, in the upper 70s-mid 80s. Low temps will drop into the upper 50s-low 60s. Next week won’t be quite as hot, and we’ll see better chances of showers and storms, especially through midweek next week.
