On Friday evening, hot dogs, barbecue, hamburgers and baked beans will be served from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Bingo runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for $1 per game, with winners receiving half the fees collected for each game. Daubers will be available for $1, or attendees may bring their own. After browsing the exhibits, bring a chair and enjoy Buddy Allen and the Cheat River Band at the firehouse from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Saturday begins with breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, eggs and more. The Thrift Shop in the old schoolhouse will be open from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for a $1 bag clothing sale. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m.

Following the parade, lunch will be available at the concession stand in the community building. Other afternoon activities include exhibits and health screenings, a vintage and hot rod cruise-in car show, kid-friendly activity stations, face painting, balloon animals, crafts, a bouncy house and cotton candy, Dippin’ Dots, popcorn and snow cones. Horseshoe and cornhole tournaments will also be available. A kids’ paint party led by Sandy Schmocker will take place from 2 to 2:45 p.m. and is limited to 20 participants. Organized games for all ages will run from 2:45 to 3:15 p.m., followed by a fire truck splash. Attendees are asked to bring towels and extra clothes.

Outdoor entertainment under the tent will feature Richard Hefner and the Black Mountain Bluegrass Boys from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., The Announcers inside from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and Nathan Seldomridge from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at a location to be announced.

Saturday evening features bingo from 4 to 6 p.m. and a ham dinner with brown beans, cornbread or cornpone and dessert from 4 to 7 p.m. A dance concert featuring music by the Goodson Boys begins at 7 p.m. in the firehouse bay. The night will end with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
