The Lewisburg House and Garden Club met for the June meeting at the historic home of Mary Montgomery Lindquist. Joan Montgomery and Carol Olsen were the hostesses. The June meeting is traditionally the luncheon meeting, and each member brought something especially tasty. Those in attendance were President Ghee Gossard, Second Vice President Mimi deOlloqui-Turner, Recording Secretary Mary Lindquist, Treasurer, Peggy Brown, Judy Deegans, Delores Dotson, Jill Gwinn, Susie Harkness, Sharon Holliday, Karen Lee McClung, Sue McKinney, Joan Montgomery, Carol Olsen, Martha Perilli, Deb Phillips, Carrie Sanders, Lynn Weikel and Marit Withrow.

Following a delicious lunch, Jill Gwinn gave a report on the plans for the upcoming house and garden tour. The club is responsible for one house, for the floral decorations in the house, and to serve as docents.

The regular order of business was discussed, committee reports were given, and a motion to adjourn was heard and passed.

The next meeting will be held July 22 at Peony Hill, 1598 Washington Street, East, the home of Mimi deOlloqui-Turner. All members are urged to attend.
