LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – POSTPONED – THURSDAY, APRIL 23: WEST VIRGINIA SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND – The event has been postponed until a later date to be announced.

FRIDAY, MAY 1: NISSMAN & WVSO – Carnegie Classics Series concludes Friday, May 1, at 7 p.m. with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra featuring Barbara Nissman as soloist in the Grieg Piano Concerto. Individual performance tickets are $30/adults and $20/students.

FRIDAY, MAY 15: PEARL S. BUCK – Appalachian Heritage Lecture Series presents Pearl S. Buck: A Living History Presentation on Friday, May 15, at 7 p.m. Portrayed by Karen Vuranch of Fayetteville, the event is a presentation of one of Appalachia’s most influential literary figures, and her lasting impact on global literary culture. Free admission, but still need to register.

For tickets or more information visit carnegiehallwv.org, call 304.645.7917, or stop by 611 Church St, Lewisburg, WV. Thanks to the Carnegie Cardinal Fund, Greenbrier County Students attend for free, but still must reserve a seat.

Rotating Galleries:

Old Stone Room GALLERY – Next up interdisciplinary fiber artist Nevada Tribble. Next Carnegie Hall Artwalk scheduled for Friday, May 8.

Museum Gallery –Smithsonian Votes for Women Exhibit. The exhibit runs through the end of April. The Carnegie Hall Artwalk is free and open to the public.

LOBBY GALLERY/BOARD ROOM –Needle-Felting Artist Liz Haley. The exhibit runs through the end of April. The Carnegie Hall Artwalk is free and open to the public.

BOARD ROOM GALLERY –Art Exhibit by Ronald Refsland. The Carnegie Hall Artwalk is free and open to the public.

Permanent Exhibit:

Arts from the Ashes: The History of carnegie hall – The exhibit features memorabilia, photographs, artifacts and more of Carnegie Hall since its construction in 1901. Located on the second floor. Free admission

Carnegie Hall Box Office and Galleries are open Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, please visit carnegiehallwv.org, call 304.645.7917, or stop by 611 Church Street, Lewisburg, West Virginia.
