LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – FRIDAY, MAY 8: CARNEGIE HALL ARTWALK – Join Carnegie Hall for the Carnegie Hall Artwalk on Friday, May 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., featuring work by Holly Lei Cole, Pat Cross, Thomas Ott, and Nevada Tribble. The event will also feature live music by John Maddy, refreshments, and a cash bar. The Carnegie Hall Artwalk is free and open to the public.

FRIDAY, MAY 15: PEARL S. BUCK – Appalachian Heritage Lecture Series presents Pearl S. Buck: A Living History Presentation on Friday, May 15, at 7 p.m. Portrayed by Karen Vuranch of Fayetteville, the event is a presentation of one of Appalachia’s most influential literary figures, and her lasting impact on global literary culture. Free admission but still need to register.

FRIDAY, MAY 22: YOUNG@HEART – Carnegie Hall and the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame present the documentary Young@Heart on Friday, May 22, at 7 p.m. The event features special guests Director Stephen Walker, Barbara Nissman, and Larry Groce. $5 admission.

THURSDAY, JUNE 25: DANNY PAISLEY & THE SOUTHERN GRASS – Special Performance on Thursday, June 25, at 7 p.m. in the Hamilton Auditorium featuring the powerful, unadorned, and intense traditional bluegrass of Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass. Tickets are $25/adults and $20/students. Enjoy Club Carnegie in the Board Room before the concert from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Free admission. Cash bar and snacks available. This show was originally scheduled for January

Permanent Exhibit:

Arts from the Ashes: The History of carnegie hall – The exhibit features memorabilia, photographs, artifacts and more of Carnegie Hall since its construction in 1901. Located on the second floor. Free admission
