Game One:

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS (WVDN)- Kent State defeated Wright State 76–72 in overtime in game one of day 2 of the Skechers Greenbrier Tip-Off River Division. The game was tied 32–32 at halftime and 62–62 after regulation before Kent State closed OT 14–10. The contest featured 13 ties and 13 lead changes, with Wright State’s largest lead at 10 and Kent State’s at 7 in the extra period.

Delrecco Gillespie posted 26 points and 17 rebounds for Kent State, while Cian Medley had 10 points and seven assists and Morgan Safford added 10 points and nine boards; Wright State was led by Michael Cooper with 19 points, with Andrea Holden adding 10 points and 10 rebounds. Team stats: points in the paint 38–36 Kent State; second-chance points 18–12 Kent State; points off turnovers 21–8 Wright State.

 

 

 

Game Two:

Cleveland State rallied past Radford 87–82 in game two of River Division action, overcoming a 49–36 halftime deficit with a 51–33 second half. The Vikings trailed by as many as 17 early after the break and led by as many as five in the closing seconds; the game featured two lead changes and one tie.

Dayan Nessah scored 20 points with eight rebounds to lead Cleveland State, supported by Josiah Harris (16 points, 15 rebounds) and Tre Beard (15 points, six assists). Radford was paced by Del Jones with 19 points, Dennis Parker Jr. with 15 and Tyson Brown with 11 and 13 rebounds. CSU shot 44.4% from the field and 9-for-26 from three; Radford shot 37.8% and 6-for-30 from deep.
