RAINELLE W.Va. (WVDN) – In July 2024, Isac Osborne of Rainelle created a business that has proven to be both fun and profitable. Zeek’s Blowups LLC caters to parties, school events and summer gatherings with their inflatable water slides, obstacle course and bounce house. “It’s a fun way to get out in the community and provide an affordable source of fun for families,” says owner Isac Osborne.

“I guess it’s just like anything else in life,” says Osborne of his inspiration to start this business. “You’re always looking for the next thing to be successful that will help provide for your family.” With a total of 4 inflatables available for setup, Zeek’s Blowups LLC is licensed, insured and inspected. “We follow the standards and rules set by the state,” he adds. “We have a checklist that we follow, a wind guideline and we use anchors to stake all outside inflatables down.”

With 2025 just underway, Osborne is already looking forward to a successful season. “I just started this business last July and by the end of summer, things were really taking off,” he says. “This year, I already have bookings all the way into June, but I still have plenty of availability between now and then. If I have the inflatable and am available, I can get you set up with as little as next-day notice.”

If you’re wondering if adults can also join in on the fun, the answer is yes, they can. According to Osborne, ages range from preschool to adults. With a choice of 13ft and 20ft water slides, there are age-appropriate options for everyone. The base rate for a two to four hour rental ranges from $275 to $450, depending on which inflatable you choose. This price includes setup and teardown, but does not include delivery. “If you’d like to rent our inflatables for the day or even over a weekend, we can do that,” says Osborne. “Our delivery fee is extra and is based on time and distance, and I’ll travel almost anywhere.” Payment is due at setup and can be made in the form of cash, check or Square.

If you’re planning a party, it’s important to be aware of the important timelines necessary for the successful setup of an inflatable. “From start to finish, depending on the inflatable, it can take up to an hour,” says Osborne. “The tear down is the same.” When scheduling an inflatable, be sure to accurately disclose when your party will begin so that there’s enough time for delivery and setup.

Once the inflatable is removed from the party, it’s taken back to Rainelle, where it will be set up once again for cleaning and disinfecting. “There’s a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into getting each inflatable ready to be rented out again,” Osborne adds. “You put a lot of work and hours into cleaning and preparing the them for each use.”

In addition to inflatables, Zeek’s Blowups LLC also offers glow parties with various foam colors, a Pucker Powder candy dispensing machine and yard games.

“I would like to thank my customers for the opportunity they’ve given me,” say Osborne. “To provide something affordable to kids in the community, that’s the motivation behind it all. We’re looking forward to a fun and exciting 2025.”
