Alvin “Slim” Martin
Alvin “Slim” Martin, 68, of Rt. 2, Alderson, was found deceased in the early morning hours on October 30th in his home.
Born June 6th, 1956, in Wharncliffe, WV, he was the son of the late Otto R. Martin and Sadie A. Cline Martin. He was also preceded by brothers, Jimmy, Glen, Iven, John; and sister, Beverly; nephew, Jarad Workman; nieces, Amber, Erica, and Francis Louise Martin.
He is survived by brothers, Emory and Bruce; sisters, Juanita, Dicie, Ruby, and Brenda; sister-in-law, Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His wish was to be cremated. Graveside rites and burial will be in Martin Family Cemetery of Snake Run Road at a later date.
