Ralph Wayne Morgan
Ralph Wayne Morgan, 74, of Organ Cave, passed away on Christmas Day, 2024, at CAMC Greenbrier Valley Hospital.
He was born June 16, 1950, in Ronceverte and was the son of the late Fred G. and Frances Masters Morgan.
Wayne was a husband, father, grandfather, and a cattle farmer. He did undergraduate work at Potomac College in forestry. He worked 15 years in the motor service department at The Greenbrier Hotel. Wayne was a jack of all trades, master of a few.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years this past April, Susie Morgan; and a sister, Phyllis Wakefield.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Amanda Asbury (Ben) of Jefferson, MD; son, Matt Morgan (Ashley) of Organ Cave; his greatest blessings called him Grandpa (six grandchildren), Audra, Evelyn, Laramie, Harper, Colten, and Miles; brother, Bryan Morgan (Dawn) of Elliston, VA; revered uncle, Sam Masters; and several nieces, nephews, and a passel cousins.
Per Wayne’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
